Defining a Premium Brand for Launch and Growth.
Project Overview
To support the launch of JA Studios NYC—a boutique salon and product line—I developed a cohesive brand identity and product experience that helped establish its position in the competitive beauty market. From visual identity to packaging and digital presence, the work reflects a clean, elevated aesthetic designed to attract high-end clientele and build long-term brand equity.

My Role
As the lead designer and brand strategist, I was responsible for:
- Collaborating directly with the client to define brand positioning.
- Designing the logo, print collateral, signage, and apparel.
- Developing product packaging and branded shopping experiences.
- Creating the concept, layout, and user flow for an e-commerce website.List Item

Branding & Identity
Logo Design & Visual Anchor
Inspired by the balayage technique—free-hand painting of highlights—I created a minimalist, elegant logo that visually captured movement and craftsmanship. This identity became the foundation of the brand’s elevated aesthetic.
Tagline Development
I developed a tagline that clearly articulated the product line’s premium appeal, aligning with the expectations of a fashion-forward, beauty-savvy clientele.
Collateral & Apparel
Business cards, storefront signage, and staff T-shirts were designed to maintain a consistent look and feel—connecting the physical salon experience with the broader brand story.
Packaging & Retail Touchpoints
Product Packaging
I created custom packaging that reflected the luxury and quality of the home sprays and body care line—designed to stand out on both shelves and social feeds.
Branded Shopping Bag
To further enhance the customer experience, I designed a stylish shopping bag that reinforced the brand’s upscale, boutique feel.
E-commerce Website
Digital Experience Design
I led the UX and visual design of the brand’s online store, ensuring the site aligned with the brand’s visual tone while providing a seamless path to purchase. Clean navigation, immersive product photography, and elevated typography made the shopping experience feel on par with luxury retail.

Print Advertising
To support the launch, I developed a full-page print ad that combined eye-catching visuals with sharp copy, reinforcing the brand’s positioning and calling attention to the exclusive product line.
